Shore Facility Capital Asset Management (S-FCAM) Program

The U.S. Coast Guard was interested in a Facility Condition Assessment of selected sites and facility components owned and/or managed by the Coast Guard. The Facility Condition Assessment will assist the Coast Guard in data collection, analysis, and data management that can be used to make decisions regarding budget forecasting, capital planning, and investment strategies related to maintenance, repair and replacement of major facility assets. Additionally, MACTEC FLG will provide the U.S. Coast Guard with recapitalization plans, capital improvement plans, and will conduct business case analyses.

Recently, MACTEC FLG was awarded a supplemental contract to provide Leadership and Guidance in transforming the CE division of the United States Coast Guard. This supplemental contract brings the total value of contracted worked being completed for the Coast Guard to $2.3 million dollars.

The Shore Facility Capital Asset Management (SFCAM) will link facilities to Coast Guard missions and operations, facility management metrics, integrated logistics methodologies, geospatial and information technologies, and a new generation of business case methodologies linking tactical decision-making with financial issues.
